Pancake Breakfast Serves Up a Great Veteran’s Day
On Veteran’s Day 2010, the Irvington High School cafeteria was open from 7 AM to 12 noon serving people pancakes, waffles and other breakfast items. It was Irvington’s High School’s 41st annual pancake breakfast. Dozens of Vikings and Fremont Citizens with tickets came to the even to celebrate Veteran’s Day with hearty servings of soft pancakes, crispy waffles, juicy sausages, fresh eggs, an assortment of buns and bagels, orange juice and warm milk and coffee.
Guests were also entertained with DJ Way Chen (Junior) and performances from students who played the guitar and sang. There was also an assortment of board games. Visitors played Life, Battleship, Monopoly, Twister, and other games. Irvington High School’s 41st annual pancake breakfast was a filling breakfast for many and a great way to spend their Veteran’s Day morning with their fellow Americans.
