At Irvington High School, new staff members seem to be swarming like bees for this school year.

Mr. Anaya (Pre-Calculus and Algebra 1)
Question: A few sentences about yourself.
Answer: “I’m from Fremont, CA. and I used to teach in Oakland at Ralph Bunch School, the reason I came back was because I missed my hometown. I have an undergrad degree in music and I love math.”
Question: What is your favorite part of Irvington and what was your first impression of the crowd here?
Answer: “The students here seem dedicated and my first impression of this place was a lot of people”
Question: Did the chicken come first or the egg?
Answer: “neither, I believe in evolution”
Mrs. Rooney (English 10 Honors)
Question: A few sentences about yourself.
Answer: “I’m originally from Santa Cruz therefore I love the beach. I love cycling, swimming, traveling, reading and cooking. I have a 20 pound male taxido cat named after the famous Italian cyclist, Cipollini.”
Question: What is your favorite part of Irvington and what was your first impression of the crowd here?
Answer: “I love the diversity here, it feels like the U.N. I have high expectations from my students and I believe it’s time to get serious”

Answer: “if a tree falls in the forest, but no one is there to hear it, does it make a sound?”

Question: A few sentences about yourself.
Answer: “Hi, My name is Daniel, I enjoy unicorns, flowers, and long walks on the beach. I’m a Scorpio and my favorite color is golden lavender.”
Question: What is your favorite part of Irvington and what was your first impression of the crowd here?
Answer: “I love the variety of students here, and my first impression of the crowd here was: Nerds.”

Answer: “The chicken. Due to genetic mutations the chicken was forced to push some eggs out.”
