It’s that time of year again when corsages are being made and tuxes are worn. Senior Ball is coming up in a month and it’s time for all you ladies and gentlemen to start getting ready. Here is a simple guide that may help your prom experience run smoothly.
Did I hear the word shopping? Dress shopping may be difficult, but if you know where to go then it shouldn’t be that hard. You may look at specialty dress shops or even department stores; the choice is yours. For a list of department stores, you may check out Macys, Nordstroms, Bloomingdales, JC Penny or Dillards. If you are looking for a specialty store, you may try BCBGMaxazria, Jessica McClintock, bebe, and Trudy’s. It all comes down to how much you want to spend on your dresses.
You guys have the great pleasure of only having to visit one shop to get fitted for your tux. There are two main tux shops that you may want to rent your tux from. Formal Headquarters is one of the tux rental companies and it is located in Sears in New Park Mall. There is also Men’s Warehouse which is located in the New Park Plaza.
Corsages and boutonnieres are a must at Prom, so whoever is buying the flowers must pick out the perfect one. There are many flower shops here in Fremont that do make corsages and boutonnieres. Give the shops at least a week notice so that they could start making some of the arrangements. The cost for each corsage and boutonnieres is different, so don’t expect them all to be the same. These flowers are also a great souvenir from Prom because all you need to do is let it dry.
