ICT’s trip through Innerspace

Irvington Conservatory Theater’s production of Starmites opened on Friday, March 26. Written by Barry Keating, Starmites follows the adventures of young Eleanor (played by Sharon Jeong), a comic book nerd who is pulled into an alternate dimension, Innerspace, by the superhero Starmites. Led by Space Punk (Donald Yu), Eleanor and the Starmites battle the Diva’s (Kelsey Findlay) banshees and evil Shak Graa (John Ramirez) to save Inner Space.

The musical is highly entertaining. The Starmite’s and Banshee’s antics are hilarious and the singing is well done. While there are some faults, overall Starmites is worth your time.
