Medha Acharya is a sophomore and staff writer for The Voice. Although new to the Voice this year, she was previously a writer and editor for Horner Junior High’s Buzz. She is excited to be a part of Irvington journalism and names Carl Bernstein and Bob Woodward, the famous Washington Post reporters who exposed Watergate, as her journalism heroes. Medha is also in Irvington debate and varsity girl’s soccer, and can name singing, dancing, and reading as her hobbies. She hopes to study and treat genetic disorders in the future, with her dream colleges being Johns Hopkins and Stanford.
