“Ever since I was little, I was fascinated with learning how to lucid dream. I used to make dream journals, do reality checks, try the ‘remember what door you came from’ trick—anything to get in control of my dream. Eventually, I got so good at it that I could create my entire dream the way I wanted. A couple months ago, I had a dream that I was sitting on the dock at night with my friend. My friend looked up at the stars and said that it would be so cool to go out there and explore the universe’s hidden secrets. Being the dream expert I thought I was, I said, ‘Let’s go.’ I turned to him ready to make the trip and realized I was staring at myself. I’ve been scared to lucid dream ever since.”
