Irvington’s Sophomore class fulfills its Spirit Week duties.
The sophomore class shows enthusiasm throughout Spirit Week by dressing up in support of their class. Class spirit was in full swing on Monday when majority of sophomores flaunted their class T-shirts. On Tuesday, or Peg Day, girls wore pink and guys wore blue. Wednesday was Occupation Day and Thursday was Fashion Disaster Day.
Evidently, spirit was high on Tuesday morning as the Sophomores jolted through the halls screaming “Hide your kids, hide your wife, watch out it’s the game of life!” The courtyard showcased the sophomores’ hard work of two months. Their skit clearly portrayed an amusing plot while involving the diversity at Irvington. At the end, the Sophomore benches quickly emptied as most rushed down to participate in their class dance.
