A new interesting club on campus
On November 16th, 2011 the club sister-to-sister had its first club meeting. This clubs goal is to provide a support system to underclassmen. Their main goal is to bridge the gap between the upperclassmen and underclassmen.
The club wants to create a sisterhood and a safe haven for those who feel lost in this new environment called high school. Seniors have been through it all and this club gives them a chance to advise underclassmen on the perils of high school.
At the meeting they served the girls some snacks as a courtesy and started with a PowerPoint that laid out their goals for the year. They then gathered in a circle so each girl could introduce themselves. They stated their name, grade and something interesting about themselves. They then moved on to a couple of fun bonding activities, such as ten fingers. Who knows how far this interesting idea will go.
