For many students at Irvington, the three benchmark projects (CHANGE, WIP, QUEST) are considered pains but, there happen to be some students who are considered geeks in taking pride of these benchmark projects.
For freshman Kelvin Mou, he constantly hangs out with CHANGE Project coordinator and teacher Mr. Pearce every lunch, before school, and after school constantly talking with him on environmental issues around the world.
Regarding WIP, despite the format being rearranged this year, sophomore Harriett Chong loves WIP as she learned so much about terrorism in Morocco through research. Loving WIP so much, she has made the decision to travel to Morocco over summer to explore the country a little more in depth.
Lastly for QUEST, with senioritis spreading toward second semester seniors, some have not actually picked up the disease and have finished all of their QUEST assignments early except for their testimony. For example, Winston Kong who is doing his social issue on the food item of bread finished all of his QUEST assignments last month due to not picking up senioritis like most other seniors did.
Now, those are some students you can call Benchmark Project fanatics.
April Fools!!! Did any of you think this was actually true? Anyway, Happy Belated April Fools!!!
