It seems that the world has been brought to a standstill as a result of the showdown between fans of the dominant K-Pop boy band of this era, BTS, and a returning one, the infamously hot Jonas Brothers. The battle has been broadcasted all over the world. Recently, the official University of Fantastical Fandoms also found that this unprecedented showdown is likely to occur only once in a lifetime; the next showdown of its kind is not predicted to occur for another 50 years. 

BTS, the breakout stars of the new generation, has proven time and time again that they have captured the hearts of millions of fans across the world. The Jonas Brothers, on the other hand, have made an epic comeback after a nearly 7 year-long hiatus. They are a testament to the fact that old is gold and that the millennial fanbase is still going strong. 

The two face off in the most epic showdown of this century, as both boy bands compete for the title of “Best Boy Band Ever”. The war has been mostly conducted over Twitter, where fans are roasting one another and defending their “faves”. 

 “You can’t be both a Jonas Brothers stan and a BTS stan,” says twitter user @btsxjjb, “because that’s like, totally uncool, and the BTS army is going to fight you, yenno?” 

Several authorities have voiced their concerns at the possibility of violence as tensions continue to mount. The Fandom Police are trying to get the situation under control, and plans are in the works for emergency protocol should the showdown get especially heated. The police, alongside the United Fandom Association and the World Fandom Peace Corps, have assessed the situation and are now striving to handle it with the utmost consideration. 

While the corporation strives to be impartial and objective in the selection process, it is also important to ensure that the emotional appeal of each boy band is taken into consideration. All fanart, music covers, montages, and fanmail will be evaluated, and the size of the fanbase will be keenly examined. Additionally, the geographic distribution of each fan base and its presence in various parts of the world will be a deciding factor, along with computational analyses of trending scandals surrounding each boyband. For now, however, only time will tell what the outcome of the showdown will be and which fandom will truly come out on top.
