I became interested in attending concerts because I have always wanted to see my favorite artists perform on the live stage. After having attended so many concerts in the past few years, I can say that the experience of going in person and seeing the artist in real life cannot be replicated by just listening to their songs online. To me, obviously seeing the artists is a major part of the concert but there is more to the experience than just witnessing that performance. It is always nice to get the official tour merchandise and to go with friends and family.

I have been to five concerts in 2023 so far: Playboi Carti, Tyler the Creator, Taylor Swift, Drake, and 21 Savage. I am also going to the Travis Scott concert later this month. I typically pay for these concerts using money that I have saved through the years. I also have a passion for business so I trade stocks and use some of my return money on concerts. My parents are also very supportive so they help me out if the concert is expensive. I recently also started a job at Chick-Fil-A a couple of months ago so I would imagine that could help pay for attending more concerts in the future.

Out of the dozens of concerts I have been to through the years, I would say my most memorable one was quite recent. I will never forget the Taylor Swift concert from last summer. I think part of what made it so special was that I attended it with my sister. I do not usually go to concerts with her so it was really nice to spend some time with her and make memories together. We both enjoyed screaming Taylor Swift lyrics at the top of our lungs. Together, we spent around $5,000 for tickets so the experience definitely did not come cheap. I really like Taylor’s songs, which is why I spent so much money on good tickets. I will always remember that night for the rest of my life but money will come and go.

Overall, I think being a concert enthusiast really reflects who I am as a person because I like to enjoy my time and have fun. Having been to so many concerts, I have a clear vision of what would make for the perfect concert. I really would like to go to something that is similar to Coachella. I want to see multiple of my favorite artists together and just be around my friends. I think the perfect venue for a concert would be Los Angeles because the weather is so nice.
