Vera Challena (10):
I became interested in attending concerts because I like listening to music, and watching my favorite artists perform in real life just helps me connect with them and their music. Sometimes, there’s just nothing better than going to a concert and yelling your favorite song and knowing all the lyrics, along with so many other fans who share the same love for the artist as I do.
So far, I’ve gone to five concerts: PrettyMuch, The Weeknd, SZA, Don Toliver, and Travis Scott. Concerts usually get expensive but I’ve never spent more than $200 on a single ticket. In my opinion, the most important part about going to a concert is the experience so there’s many factors to consider when buying a ticket. But overall, I would say I’m pretty mindful of which concerts I should spend my money on.
Out of all the concerts I’ve gone to, my favorite one has to be The Weeknd. If I could, I would go again. I love listening to his music and just being there in his presence and singing my favorite songs at the top of my lungs was an experience I never want to forget.
Overall, going to concerts is a memorable experience where you not only connect with the artist but also with your fellow fans next to you. I would love to go to another concert of The Weeknd with my friends. Even the venue doesn’t matter when you’re with people you love, so going to a concert with my friends would be like a dream come true.

I started going to concerts because I love listening to music, and watching my favorite artists perform their music is just one of the best things one can experience. Getting ready to go to concerts and then driving there and having that adrenaline rush just can’t be replaced with a pair of headphones. At concerts I feel like the artist is singing directly to me and that really makes me feel more connected to the artist.
So far I’ve been gone to TV Girl, Rex Orange County, Taylor Swift, The Weeknd, and Hozier. Cost wise, I’ve never paid more than $230 for a concert. I make sure to not overspend when I go to concerts, and most of the times, the cost is worth it.
My favorite concert so far has got to be Taylor Swift. The concert was really long and there were so many outfit changes. Plus, I love her songs, so just being at the same venue as her and singing her songs at the top of my lungs was a feeling I never want to forget. The whole concert was really hype as well. Everyone knew the lyrics to her songs, so it was really chaotic but in the best way possible.
I love going to concerts and would definitely want to go to more in the future. I would really want to go to a Drake concert with front seat tickets with my friends. I love Drake so that just being in his vicinity would mean the world to me.
