I think we ALL know who Beyoncé is. But just in case you’ve been living under a rock, she is a cultural phenomenon and arguably one of the most powerful forces in the musical universe. With her unmatched influence and legendary status, she sits at the top of the celebrity hierarchy. However, Beyoncé holds so much power that people find her incredibly intimidating. Thus, we must be grateful that Beyoncé does not ruin the lives of many.

Beyoncé has set the bar for human perfection so high. Her performances defy the laws of physics—her hair flows in perfect slow motion, and her movements are superhuman. She doesn’t work for the wind, the wind works for HER. While she flawlessly executes her singing and dancing with irresistible charm, she does it all without missing a beat or breaking a sweat. Even in the way she named her kids—Blue Ivy, Rumi, and Sir—ready like poetry. Despite her busy life, Queen Beyoncé is still somehow always Vogue-ready and lives her life like she’s on the runway. Her identity is unreal and sometimes I even forget that she’s still human.

Let’s not even try to imagine a world without Beyoncé’s music. Her smash hits like “Single Ladies,” “Halo,” and “Run the World” aren’t just tracks; they’re timeless anthems. Imagine this: a world without Beyoncé means a world where our playlists would lack culture and nuance. No more dance parties in your bedroom or ear-screeching karaoke sessions. Without her, what would we even do with ourselves? Sing off-key to… who? Exactly. She’s carried our musical spirit for decades, and for that, we should be immensely grateful.

I think we all can agree that Beyoncé is an unstoppable and powerful force, maybe TOO powerful. It’s rumored that Beyoncé has so much aura and power that she literally runs the world [girls]. There’s a musical conspiracy where if something goes TOO perfectly for you or you don’t share your thanks, Beyonce will grow jealous of your power and purposefully sabotage. Consequently, any precautions and measures must be taken to protect us from Beyoncé’s wrath. “I’m scared for my life now because I got a 95% in my Chemistry test” – Cole J; forgot to thank Beyoncé before he went to sleep the night before. 

There are so many reasons to be thankful after being graced with the existence of Beyoncé. But the real question is: WHY should you thank Beyonce (or else). Beyoncé is a being above all other beings. She is the Queen of everything. She’s an icon, she’s a legend, and she is the moment in the entertainment industry. However, be forewarned, you must express your gratitude towards the Queen … for if you neglect your duties to Overlord Beyoncé, the pages in your books will have crumbs in its crevices, lemon juice will be squeezed on that paper cut in between your fingers, and you will always have food stuck between your teeth but no one will ever tell you. 

Beyoncé is the driving force of the music industry, the QUEEN of Pop. She holds an everlasting potential, so we should stay forever grateful for Beyoncé’s mercy on us foolish humans. We should all make sure to express our gratitude in any way we can, so make sure to say thank you to Beyoncé before going to sleep tonight (or else).
