“My family and I went to a bird expo and were only looking around at first, but then we discovered the quails and were like: ‘Why not? Let’s get some birds,’ and we adopted them. We talked with the previous owners and the sellers and they said it was very low maintenance, so we thought that would be very convenient for my family and me. We named the white one Daisy and the darker one Night. Our daily routine goes like this: we usually take them outside, let them walk around, and feed them.
A funny moment with my quails was when they were climbing around on my brother, and then they went on his head and flew off onto the ground. An interesting experience I had was when we had a previous quail, and as we were cleaning it, we thought it would not fly away so we opened the cage and it instantly just ran out. We looked for days, but we couldn’t find it.
Some advice is to not give them too much food because they’ll get fat and develop a lot of diseases. Also, you need to make sure the environment is clean, and of course, make sure you don’t starve them.
I used to own a freshwater shark as well, which was cool. We fed it shrimp and had fun. We named the shark Bala.
Advice for fish, especially, is to try to maintain it with some salt, like water salt, and then make sure to give them some hiding places, especially for cleaner fish. For bird owners, especially quail owners, make sure they have toys, something they can play with, and give them a bigger area for them to walk around in the environment. “
