I wanted to run for ASG President because I wanted to have a bigger impact on the school and help grow a community of leaders. Throughout my previous years in ASG, I’ve seen the large impact of our events on the student body. I wanted to be a part of something where I knew my ideas could be implemented and also to make a difference.Â
The most helpful aspect of my campaign was interacting with students on campus and talking to them about why they should vote and how impactful it can be. My interactions with students played a big part in pushing my campaign forward.Â
I was a class officer in ASG for two years before becoming Chief Executive Officer this year, leading the ASG class alongside the President and Vice President. So far, these experiences have helped me connect with the student body and campus more, and make everyone’s high school experience more special, especially with core activities like homecoming. I like being part of the environment in ASG where everyone supports and pushes each other to make a greater impact.Â
