Pottermore Brings  New Reading Experience for Potter Fans

On July 15, 2011, the end of the Harry Potter series upset many fans around the world as they left the movie theaters.

However, J.K. Rowling has made a number of fans happy again with the announcement of Pottermore. This new website has given fans something new for Harry Potter. J.K. Rowling has wanted to use her many notes to give the fans more of Harry Potter.

J.K. Rowling has said “Pottermore has been a really great way to give back to the Harry Potter readership, who made the books such a big success.”

Many Harry Potter fans are looking forward to see this new addition in the world of Harry Potter. Fans can’t wait to see what J.K. Rowling has in store in this new website. Sophomore Disha Goel said, “ I love Harry Potter and I am really looking forward to see something new for Harry Potter.”

Pottermore will include many features to create an interactive reading website, bringing fans closer to the series. J.K. Rowling has written more information about different parts of the book and backgrounds of characters to go on the website. Users will be sorted into their own houses, brew potions,  and discover much more about the world of Harry Potter.
