Spirit week 2012!

Spirit week ended with as much excitement as it started with during our Homecoming Rally on Friday. Acts by various groups on campus such as Choir, Color Guard, IHS Cheerleaders, Hip-Hop Club, and Tap-Dance team had students pumped for our Homecoming game against Mission that evening and our Homecoming dance on Saturday.

Representatives of each class competed in fun little activities following our theme of board games this year. Students watched hilarious and entertaining acts such as a spoof of a popular Youtube video portrayed as a battle of words between Mission and Irvington. The cheerleaders performed amazing acrobatics as they flew through the air and the captivating color of the Color Guard flags excited student. The Hip-Hop club and our Tap-Dance team also kept students entertained.

There’s no doubt about it: Homecoming was awesome.
