Brrrrr-ing on the winter spirit
Winter Olympics has finally come to an end
Taking place on December 10th, acts from Ritmo Latino, Country Cross boys, Drumline, Color guard and more, pumped the rally full of energy. The winner of the Winter Olympics was also revealed with seniors taking first place.
A moment of silence was dedicated to Todd Kendrick and Stephen O’Neill, Irvington graduates who recently passed away in tragic accidents. It was followed by the National Anthem with a twist of acapella.
Up next, members of the Ritmo Latino, produced by Señor Alberto Ballado danced their way across the stage. Irvington’s Cross Country boys then melted everyone’s hearts with their own acapella, dressed in matching shirts and ties. The rally continued with Color guard’s show.
The prize for Winter Olympics is two hundred and fifty dollars to the winning class council. In order to gain more points, students of each class had to dress up accordingly to dress-up dates and donate canned foods.
