Confessions of a Second Semester Senior
Yes, we have them
By Sophia Chan
- No motivation. Whatsoever. I’ve earned the privilege of slacking off after working so hard on my rigorous courses for the past three years.
- But I completely regret that now due to my crap GPA.
- I actually have no idea what I’m doing with my college applications. I think I yolo’d at least 65% of them.
- QUEST is actually kind of fun. I complain only because there are friggin’ deadlines. And it’s part of your grade. And you have to talk to people. And you have to write stuff.
- Now that I’m going off to college soon, I’m actually rediscovering what I wanted to do with my life before all the APs bombarded me with Catcher in the Rye and integrals.
- I am so terrified of letters/emails from college. And that I won’t turn in my mid-year reports on time. And that I won’t get any scholarships. And that I’ll get rescinded for slacking off.
- WOW I’M SO STRESSED WITH THINGS TO DO BUT NOT ACTUALLY WANTING TO DO ANY OF IT.
- I have a bucketlist of things to accomplish before I finally leave this place.
- Some of them are probably illegal.
- No, I’m not going to tell you.
- Carpe Diem.
