Office Staff Goes Through Major Changes

With every new school year, there is the inevitable shifting and shuffling of the office administration staff. As our school bid adieu to former principal Mr. Murchison (now ROP Superintendent) last year, it was time for someone to fill in his shoes. This year, Mrs. Smoot is Irvington’s new principal.

With Mrs. Smoot’s new position, Mr. Moran is the new vice principal and Mrs. Palos and Mrs. Holmes are the new assistant principals.  The new interim H-O counselor in place of Mrs. Holmes is Mr. Bob Franco, who was a former counselor at Irvington.

The A-G and P-Z counselors are still Mrs. Velazco and Mrs. Serrano, respectively. Despite the administrative boggling, 2011-2012 is going to be another great year for Irvington High School.
