I feel good, oh I feel so good, UGHN
On October 29th, Irvington Key Club members attended the annual Fall Rally North at Six Flags Discovery Kingdom. This annual event gathers Key Club members from California, Nevada, and Hawaii to come together to have spirit battles and rallies in addition to auctioning off each division’s Lieutenant-Governors. The Funds and ticket sales go towards Pediatric Trauma Prevention.
According to the CNH Key Club website, Fall Rally North of 2010 donated $100,000 for pediatric trauma, and the goal this year is to break that value.
Attendee and Public Relations Officer, Wanda Zhan thought the best part of the event was the rally because she was able to “see that [Division 12 East] had so much spirit as well as see that all divisions were invigorated to win the spirit [and] rallies.” When asked how the event deepened his understanding of Key Club, freshman Leo Vu replied, “FRN has given us a chance to see how much of a family key club truly is.”
