The second studio album by Canadian recording artist Drake

On November 15, 2011, Drake released his album “Take Care” which is the follow-up to his debut album Thank Me Later. The new album includes some of his hit singles Headlines, Make Me Proud feat. Nicki Minaj, and The Motto feat. Lil Wayne. The album also features Rihanna, The Weeknd, Rick Ross, Birdman and Andre 3000. Even though the album got leaked nine days before its scheduled release date, it debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200 Chart and sold 631,000 copies in the first week.

Drake’s new album is known for its R&B elements, conflicted lyrics and how he sings and raps vocals. Sophomore Cameron Cabigas bought the album and his favorite song is Make Me Proud. “He talks about real stuff, I can relate”, says Cabigas. Drake’s lyrics deal with various topics such as failed romances, relationship with family and friends, and growing wealth and fame.
