Caitlin Chen is a sophomore at Irvington High School and a staff writer for The Voice. She cites J.K. Rowling and Harper Lee as her greatest writing influences. She hopes to one day become a published novelist or journalist. Her favorite stories to cover are news stories in her community. She was accepted to the Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth and is an accomplished pianist and cellist. She hopes to make The Voice the best newspaper she can. When she isn’t writing or struggling to finish her homework, she binge-watches “Supernatural” and bakes muffins.
