Risheek Priyadarshi is a sophomore, and this is his first year on the Voice staff of Irvington High School. However, his passion for journalism started when he was accepted onto his elementary school’s newspaper team. Risheek enjoys tricking, hanging out with friends, and dancing. He is a third-degree black belt in taekwondo and has practiced it for ten years. He also plays electric guitar, piano, and double bass. He has played guitar since fourth grade and double bass since seventh. Risheek also likes to run, and is on the cross country and track and field teams. His goals for the school year are to maintain technique while writing articles, become a better runner, and have a fun sophomore year.
