Shobhit Asthana is a junior and will be serving his first year in Journalism. He was inspired to join the Voice by Brandon McAllister, a former Irvington journalist. Shobhit enjoys writing about controversial topics as well as general student life. He hopes to learn how to professionally and respectfully voice his opinion by taking journalism.

In his free time, Shobhit participates in physical activities. He plays water polo for Irvington and a club league. He enjoys hiking, trekking, and backpacking through various parts of the world. Shobhit hopes to benefit from his experiences to provide different angles and unique perspectives for The Voice.
