Plans are being made to bring back the dance studio mural

According to hip hop club president Way Chen, the administration has agreed to pay the original painter of the mural, Aaron Loverro, $200. Although negotiations between departments that use the dance studio haven’t happened yet, there are definitely plans on recovering the mural.  Whether or not there will be design changes for the mural and when the mural will be repainted, are still topics under discussion. Meetings with dance club members on the topic of the mural’s recovery have been held in order to inform students of the situation. Hip-hop club members and other students who were against the administrative decision to paint over the old mural are hoping to have a new mural in the studio as soon as possible.
