Homecoming Court 2013: Joshua Handjojo
Interview by Brandon McAlister
Q: How do you feel being nominated for Homecoming King?
A: “I feel ecstatic, I’m really thankful for all the support I’ve received from my friends. I feel really honored.”
Q: What is your definition of Homecoming King?
A: “My definition of Homecoming King is the guy at Irvington who’s not judged on how popular he is, but by the deeds and actions he does for Irvington. I want Homecoming King to be the role model of the school.”
Q: Why did you apply?
A: “I applied to be Homecoming King because I’ve always wanted to do it since freshman year. I was really inspired by a lot of upperclassmen. I believe that I have a lot of activities and qualifications of what I’ve done throughout Irvington.”
Q: Tell us something embarrassing about yourself.
A: “One time I farted at Sadies, thinking no one would hear it. However, it was very deadly.”
Q: Anything else you want to say?
A: “Thank you to all the people who nominated me and also believed in me. I’m really grateful for this spot because there are many other guys on the list that could have been in this position, shoutout to B-Mac and Jamics.”
