Homecoming Court 2013: Sandra Choi
Interview by Kelsey Wong
Q: How do you feel about being part of Homecoming Court?
A: Thankful. Being on homecoming court means that I am representing Irvington. And hopefully I’m representing the school well. Honestly, being part of Court was pretty unexpected.
Q: What is your definition of a Homecoming Queen?
A: I think Homecoming Queen is someone that knows Irvington well overall, someone who puts herself out there and someone who associates with the students.
Q: Why did you apply for Homecoming Court?
A: I wanted to make the most of my senior year. I wanted to put myself out there just to see what would happen. After the nomination process, underclassmen came up to me and said, “I nominated you!” Their encouragements made me want to try my best and represent them well.
Q: Tell us something embarrassing about yourself.
A: If you see a girl who carries around baby food and trips over nothing in the hallway, that’s me!
Q: Anything else you would like to say?
A: I’ll try my best to represent the school! Gracias!
