“It’s not just a clinic, it’s a movement,” said Sabrina Carpenter, global pop star and singing sensation. Carpenter is referring to “The 5’2” to 6’2” Institute,” her newest business endeavor. Carpenter opened a clinic that helps patients increase their height through a variety of treatments. With a strong reputation for her long legs and impossible proportions, there is no better person to consult than Carpenter, not even a qualified doctor with credentials (because who even cares about their 11 years of schooling when you have singer Sabrina Carpenter??).
Carpenter’s clinic offers 3 main treatments: leg lengthening and exposure/acceptance therapy. Leg lengthening, the clinic’s most popular treatment, involves a top secret surgery performed on the patient. The patient will come out of the treatment with longer legs. Many patients have commented on their satisfaction post-treatment. 9-year-old social media personality Christian Joseph (more commonly known as “The Rizzler”), who underwent the treatment, stated, “My new height of 6’6 has significantly increased my viewer and follower count on TikTok. My height also enhances my signature rizz face, and more girls at the playground pay attention to me during recess.”
But leg lengthening isn’t popular amongst all patients. Showrtk Ing, who received the treatment, voiced his dissatisfaction. “To be honest, I don’t know what possessed me to try this treatment. When I asked the front desk to show me their certifications to operate as a medical clinic, they told me ‘Who needs a state license when we have not one, but TWO Grammys hanging on the wall?’”
Carpenter’s clinic has drawn patients from all across the globe, including other celebrities and commonpeople. Former basketball player Shaquille O’Neal shared his experience: “This clinic genuinely performs miracles. Although some people are doubtful when I tell them I’m 7’1, I wouldn’t want to live my life in any other way.” Other celebrities such as Dwayne Johnson, Blake Lively, and Zendaya have also reported satisfaction with these treatments.
Exposure/acceptance therapy is another treatment offered by the clinic. It involves sessions with a psychologist to help short patients come to terms with their height and brush off their insecurities. The second segment of the treatment involves exposure therapy, where the patient must stand in a crowd of tall people for an extended period of time. This is intended to force the patient to feel more confident in their height even when being the “odd one out.”
Mini Cooper, an exposure therapy patient, reported positive results post treatment. “Sabrina taught me to accept my height, and I now shop exclusively in the kids’ section with confidence,” he stated.
Carpenter’s clinic may seem like a joke to some, but it’s been doing great in sales and business. They receive over 10,000 inquiries and approximately 4,000 walk-ins a day. This means their lines are substantially longer than the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV). Carpenter’s associates attribute the success to her singing talent and charming nature. “People will do anything it takes to be like her,” mentioned a front desk associate.
